1. RESERVATION & PAYMENT
✅How can I book a vehicle?
You can make a reservation via our website, via email, or by phone by contacting our reservation department (from 08:00 to 20:00).
✅What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payments via credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and Stripe for the prepayment through our website. The remaining amount can be paid by credit/debit card or cash at our offices.For bookings made via phone or email, payment is processed through a secure payment link that you will receive from our payment provider.
✅When is the booking charged?
25% of the total amount is prepaid at the time of booking, while the remaining balance is paid upon vehicle pickup.
✅ Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit is required regardless of the coverage option you choose. The deposit amount depends on the driver’s age, the vehicle category, and the selected package. For more details, please contact us at [email protected].
✅ Will I receive the exact model I selected on the website?
We guarantee the vehicle category, but not always the specific model. We make every effort to accommodate your request, but in case of unavailability, we will provide a vehicle of the same category or offer a free upgrade.
✅Is there an age restriction for renting a vehicle?
Yes, the minimum age requirement is 20 years, and the maximum is 80 years, with a mandatory condition of holding a valid driver’s license for at least one year. For drivers under 25 or over 74 years old, additional fees and a higher security deposit apply.
2.RENTAL & VEHICLE PICKUP
✅ What are the operating hours of the car rental offices?
Our offices are open from 07:00 to 22:00.
✅ Is there an additional charge for pick-up/drop-off outside operating hours?
Yes, for pick-ups and drop-offs between 22:30 and 07:00, there is an additional charge of €20.
✅ What happens in case of a delayed vehicle return?
We provide a 1-hour grace period after the scheduled return time. If the delay exceeds this period, an additional rental day will be charged.
✅Do I need an international driving license?
No, a valid new-format driving license (in English) with a minimum validity of 12 months is sufficient. If your license is not in English or is an older version, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required for non-EU countries.
✅Do I need to return the car with a full tank?
No, but the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when it was picked up.
✅ Can I add an additional driver?
Yes, you can add an additional driver for an extra charge in the Silver package. In the Gold and Platinum packages, the second driver is free, provided they have a valid driving license.
3. ACCIDENTS - DAMAGES - LOSSES
✅What should I do in case of an accident or damage to the car?
In the event of an accident or damage, you must immediately inform Rentcar.gr so that the incident can be recorded by the insurance company. Additionally, you must contact the police and provide us with the official incident report. Then, complete the incident report form at the following link: https://rentcar.gr/en/support/incident-report
✅ What does the insurance cover?
- Silver Package: Basic third-party liability insurance as required by law. The customer is responsible for all damage to the vehicle.
- Gold Package*: Covers collision damage, theft, fire, personal accidents, third-party liability, towing, and vehicle replacement. (Does not cover damage to tires and windows).
- Platinum Package*: Additional coverage that includes damage to tires and windows. (This option can be added upon car delivery)

✅ What should I do if I lose the car key?
Contact us immediately. The replacement cost varies depending on the car model and includes administrative fees and expenses for transporting the spare key.
